One chilly evening in Toronto, I performed alongside fellow Music Can Heal musicians to raise money for non-profit, www.musiccanheal.org.
With much anticipation, my second solo piano CD has finally been recorded & mastered at Kuhl Muzik in Toronto by Gary Honess. With the exception of 11.11.11, these tracks were recorded on a stunning Schimmel grand piano in three separate recording sessions. The majority of tracks are improvised. Please have a listen here!
I am thrilled to be part of ArrayMusic's Young Composer's Workshop during May 2015. I will be premiering Nada Brahma: A Synthony, an eight-movement piece composed for the MalletKat and performed by Rick Sacks. It features field-recorded samples of percussion instruments from ArrayMusic, as well as from nature and instruments from around the world (Geosonic, Impact). The piece is a sonic journey from the Void into the elements and seasons of earth, the creation and fall of industry and back out to the void.
